What is RSS?
RSS is a syndication format that lets you use an RSS reader to access content that’s posted to the various Web sites. Your reader will automatically update on some regular schedule and display new articles from the feeds that you’ve selected. Some readers can notify you when a new item appears in one of your feeds. Instead of using a Web browser to roam from Web site to Web site, you can install an RSS reader to automatically gather new content from your choice of RSS-enabled sites.

RSS Readers
The RSS feed for GPS World works in FeedReader, Google, Firefox and several other RSS readers. If you don’t yet have an RSS reader, you can download one of the following:

These feeds are provided free of charge, but if you display GPS World content on a Web site, we ask that you reference the original source with a link or logo. We reserve the right to request that a site remove a feed if we believe it’s being used inappropriately.

Finding Additional Feeds
Once your RSS reader is installed, you can subscribe to any RSS feeds that interest you. Look for the orange XML button on your favorite Web sites, and follow your reader’s instructions for adding a new feed. You also can search for and subscribe to RSS feeds from a variety of Web sites using services such as the following.
